Paradise Honey 8-Frame Langstroth Hive Roof
This Paradise Honey 8-Frame Langstroth Hive Roof is manufactured from high-density polystyrene (EPS) and features a 40 mm thick design to provide reliable insulation for use throughout the year. The insulated construction helps support stable hive conditions in both cooler and warmer weather.
The roof has been designed with versatility in mind and can be used in its standard orientation or inverted when required. When inverted, it can provide an upper entrance, a technique commonly used in some regions to improve ventilation and allow direct access to the supers during periods of strong nectar flow. This configuration can also be useful if drones need an alternative exit when drone brood is present in the supers.
An internal space beneath the roof allows room for placing bags of feed directly on top of the frames when required. When not in use, this space can be closed to prevent unwanted comb construction.
