Application Instructions:

Product Type:
Wood Stain & Protect is a premium, easy-to-use wood stain with a smooth, brushable consistency. It can be applied by brush, roller, or professional low-pressure spray gun. Domestic sprayers may clog due to the product’s viscosity, so a low-pressure spray system is recommended for best results.

Coat Application:
Apply two coats for lasting protection. A third coat can be added to deepen color and improve durability.

Coverage:
A 1-liter tin covers roughly 8m², depending on the wood’s texture, porosity, and moisture content. For best results, apply 2–3 thin coats.

Surface Preparation:
Clean surfaces thoroughly with warm water, mild detergent, and a stiff brush. Remove any dirt, mold, or algae, then rinse and allow to dry completely. Ensure old finishes are well-weathered or removed. No primer or basecoat is required before application.

Mixing and Application:
Stir thoroughly before and during use. Apply evenly by brush, roller, or professional low-pressure sprayer.
Allow each coat to dry for at least 2 hours before applying the next. If more than 4 hours elapse between coats, lightly sand the surface before reapplying. Maintain every 2–5 years, or as needed.

Cleaning and Maintenance:

  • Clean splashes and drips immediately with warm water and detergent while still wet.

  • Do not apply in temperatures below 5°C or if rain is expected within 48 hours.

  • Do not apply to wet, damp, or frozen timber.

  • Touch-dry within 2 hours, depending on temperature and humidity.

  • After use, remove excess product from brushes and rollers and wash with warm water and detergent.

  • Clean sprayer components immediately—do not allow the stain to dry inside the equipment.
