How to Use & Dosage
Api-Bioxal can be applied using three different methods depending on your preferred treatment approach:
1. Trickling (Dribble Method)
- Dissolve 1 sachet (31g) in 1 litre of 1:1 sugar syrup (1kg sugar + 1L water)
- Apply 5ml per occupied seam of bees
- Maximum 50ml per colony
👉 Best used in late autumn or winter when colonies are broodless.
2. Sublimation (Vaporisation)
- Use 2.3g per hive (approximately 1/14 of a sachet)
- Apply using an approved oxalic acid vaporiser
👉 Ideal for winter treatments or repeated applications when brood is minimal.
3. Spraying Method
- Dissolve 1 sachet (31g) in 500ml of clean water
- Spray 3–4ml per side of each comb covered with bees
👉 Suitable for nucleus colonies, swarms, or packages.
When to Use
- Apply during broodless periods for maximum effectiveness
- Commonly used in late autumn and winter
- Can be used at other times only when little or no brood is present

Important Information
