Our BS 14 x 12 (Deep) Brood Hoffman Frames are high-quality, self-spacing brood frames designed for use in British National, WBC, and Smith hives (with shortened top bar lugs for Smith compatibility).
Product Description
These deep brood frames are specifically designed to provide increased brood space within your hive, allowing your colony to expand more efficiently and reducing the need for additional brood boxes. The 14 x 12 size offers a larger comb area compared to standard National brood frames, making them ideal for strong, productive colonies.

Frame Assembly Instructions

Prepare the Components:
Ensure you have all parts – top bar, bottom bar, two side bars, and frame pins. -
Assemble the Frame:

Insert the side bars into the top bar slots.

Fit the bottom bar into place, ensuring the frame is square.

Secure joints using frame pins or small nails.

Foundation Installation:

Insert your chosen wax or plastic foundation sheet.

Fix the foundation securely using wire or wax to keep it taut and properly aligned.

Confirm all joints are tight and the frame is square.
