Spring is fast approaching and is one of the busiest times of the year for both bees and beekeepers.

The days are becoming longer with milder weather, established colony populations grow bigger and new colonies are started. The queen lays more and more eggs, the drones reappear, nectar and pollen are bought into the hive and the wonderful hum of bee activity gets louder. It's a really exciting time and the best piece of advice we can give to you or any other beekeeper, is to be prepared. The bees won't wait. We're sure you'll want to get things in the best shape for our little pollinator friends, so we’ve had our thinking caps on and have some exciting new products for both the seasoned beekeeper and those who are new to the fascinating world of beekeeping.

There’s a bit of a ‘time saving’ theme happening here. Again, the bees won’t wait and neither should you, so we’re now thrilled to be able to offer pre-assembled frames with 100% beeswax foundation (the bees like this much better than plastic AND it’s better for the environment).

We all know what it’s like to get caught out, so these are the perfect solution. Not only does it take the hassle out of the task, you’ll be saving a lot of time with pre-assembled frames and foundation (coupled with our fast delivery time too, of course).
